Today we received a call from a customer that had seen bees in the outside wall of their home , after doing our inspection we discovered that not only did this customer have bees in their wall but they had a large bee hive consisting of Honey , wax , pollen and pheremones . The access to this hive was threw the stucco wall of the home which the bees had entered through a existing hole. The way that we removed this hive was to use a right angled grinder to open up the wall and we then used a smoke to calm the bees, once the bees were calm we proceeded to start removing the hive . when removing a hive you need to make sure to get all of the honey and way comb to prevent any future bees from being attracted to this area. Once the hive was completely removed and the bees were transfered using a live capture method we proceeded to disinfect the cavity and repair the wall and installed new fiberglass insulation , chicken wire and stucco.
